2025 Annual Meeting and Awards

The Newington Chamber of Commerce held our 80th Annual Meeting and Awards celebration last night at Indian Hill Country Club.

After conducting our business meeting, we honored our 2025 Award Winners:

• Chamber Member of the Year – Jennifer Morgenthau, JMA Architects LLC
• Chamber Business Person of the Year – Katie Kiss, Del Soul Spa
• Chamber Business of the Year – Cathy Lapierre, Laza Properties
• Public Safety Award – Newington Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Chief Craig Stegmaier
• Youth Service Award – Newington Children’s Theatre Company, Chris DeFrancesco
• Beautification Award – The Community Room Cafe, Dee Wiltshire
• Gail Whitney Public Service Award – Al Marino, Connecticut Foodshare
• Volunteer of the Year Award – Gail Budrejko, Town Councilor

We also welcomed new Incoming Directors to our board:

• Jeffrey Morrow – Morrow Realty
• Jennifer Morgenthau – JMA Architect, LLC
• Trish Feeney – AAG Accounting

Finally, we said goodbye to the Outgoing Directors on our board:

• Cailin McBee – Balance Massage & Wellness Center

• Jennifer Tirillo – Concentric Care & Wellness
