Portuguese Club of Hartford Ribbon Cutting

On April 5th, the Newington Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony for Portuguese Club of Hartford for the rebuild of their club (located at 730 North Mountain Road), and wow is it gorgeous!

Upstairs is a beautiful event space that holds about 300 people. And downstairs will be a restaurant open to the public, and on the other side a members-only area.

Welcome them back to Newington and to the Chamber!

The Portuguese Club is owned and operated by its members who share an interest in keeping the traditions and customs of the Portuguese culture alive for generations to come.

We are also home to the longest running Portuguese Folklore group in New England, the Rancho Folclórico do Clube Português de Hartford, as well as the home to the Hartford Portuguese Soccer Team which includes an Over 30s, Over 40s, Over 50s, and the first Portuguese Womens soccer team in CT.
